Glenn Chorale to perform this weekend at Willows High
WILLOWS The 40 voices of the Glenn Chorale will perform two concerts to usher in the holidays.
The chorale will sing at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Willows High School Cafetorium.
On Sunday, the chorale will present a Christmas concert at 3:00 p.m. at Orland Memorial Hall.
Both audiences will hear holiday favorites along with contemporary selections.
Refreshments will be served at both performances.
Tickets are $6 for adults; children under 12 are admitted free.
Tickets may be purchased from Glenn Chorale members or by calling 865-7261.
Paradise Chorus to sing holiday favorites Saturday and Sunday
PARADISE Paradise Community Chorus' holiday program will present 'Christmas Through a Child's Eyes,' featuring a collection of seasonal favorites in two performances this weekend.
Paradise Intermediate School chorus and finalists from Paradise Idol Junior Competition will perform with the 75-member community chorus, singing titles from classic Christmas to popular Broadway songs.
The concerts will be at Paradise Performing Arts Center at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $8 at the center, Country Touch FloristsWhisker Pines in Magalia or from chorus members. Call 872-8454.
